I have a saying. If the place looks too beautiful the focus is on ambience and not the food. If the place looks run down, you're going to have a great meal as they are focused on feeding you well. Don't let this place deceive you by its look. This was such a wonderful experience and if I lived closer I would be up again more frequently. The spring rolls were divine, soft and fresh. The main courses were flavorful the vegetables and meat were tender and seasoned well and the sauce could have been licked up from the plate it was so comforting. The service was great too, everyone was inviting and it was like seeing a friend who wanted to just have you over again. It was a simple affair and one of my favorites this year, I'm glad we just drove over to check them out
Kong thai had some of the best thai food I’ve ever had. The crispy chicken fried rice was outstanding and a huge portion for lunch. I was able to eat it for dinner later as well and it was just as great. The inside was awesome and everything felt authentic. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more! Thanks so much. The food was piping hot for a very long time! Kong thai is top notch
Great service in this cute little spot. Amaing tasting flavors at a very reasonable price. Definitely look forward to trying more of the menu!
Best pad Thai we've had in a long time. The food is fresh and exemplary. They made my Thai tea with coconut milk because I have a dairy allergy. Kind attentive service. Complimentary spring roll and bottled water. Will be back. They had a lovely shaded patio table and allowed our dog Lucy to be with us. Absolutely lovely experience.
This is an absolute gem! Service was incredible with a family feel. Got freshly fried spring rolls on the house with my meal which was their signature crispy pad Thai. The dish was fantastic and a very generous portion size for the price. What really sets this apart was the man taking our order and his welcoming and super positive attitude!! You can tell this a true honest family business
This was a wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant. The reviews were fantastic, but when we pulled up around lunchtime, the parking lot was empty, so we were skeptical. However, once we ordered and waited for our food, it was obvious that they do mostly To Go orders. We ordered the Drunken Noodles with pork and a Tom Kha coconut soup with chicken. The owner first brought out 2 bottles of water. Then, he brought out 2 crispy spring rolls with sauce for each of us. We didn't order either, so we were surprised it was included in the price. The coconut soup was piping hot, with a creamy coconut broth, and very flavorful. The Drunken Noodles was freshly prepared, had some fresh vegetables, generous portion of chicken (we ordered pork), and was absolutely delicious, so no need to quibble about it not being pork. The bathroom was clean and had paper towels and soap. While it's not a fancy place, the wonderful food more than made up for the lack of ambiance. We highly recommend it.
We ordered the drunken noodles with fried tofu and pad see ew with pork. The drunken noodles had just enough spice to it as not to drown out the taste of the other ingredients. Noodles were cooked just right. The pad see ew had good flavor, a good portion of pork and vegetable too, but noodles in my opinion were a bit soggy. Two egg rolls accompanied each meal and they were good. The server was very friendly and the food came out to us reasonably fast.
